All coaches in LAHA undergo extensive training through USA Hockey’s Coaching Education program. All coaches have undergone an extensive background check, and have been appointed to their positions by the LAHA Board. All coaches are volunteers, and many have significant playing experience at high-level youth, Junior, and/or college-level hockey. LAHA is also fortunate to have coaches with numerous years of coaching experience, and to also have local teams such as the Eugene Generals (Junior A, Tier III), the Oregon Ducks (ACHA) as resources that teams often draw upon.
