Program History
LAHA Program History
Since 1989, the Lane Amateur Hockey Association (LAHA) has been home to Eugene's Jr. Generals, providing youth ice hockey opportunities for boys and girls ages 6 to 18 in the Eugene and Lane County community. As a volunteer-driven, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, LAHA relies on its board members, coaches, team managers, and parent volunteers to sustain its programs.
LAHA's mission has centered on fostering citizenship, sportsmanship, and physical development among area youth through a competitive-development hockey program that combines age-appropriate player growth with clear expectations for attendance, preparation, effort, and conduct.
Today, the Eugene Jr. Generals field teams across multiple age divisions, practicing and competing at The Rink Exchange on the Lane County Fairgrounds against associations throughout Oregon and Washington, with current team offerings, schedules, and program details published each season.
