Welcome Back Potluck and Gear Swap - Saturday, September 15th

Join your LAHA hockey family for our Welcome Back Potluck & Gear Swap, the perfect way to kick off the new season!

We'll gather at Wayne Morse Shelter on September 12th from 1–4 PM for an afternoon of good food, good friends, and great hockey community spirit. Bring a dish to share potluck-style—LAHA has drinks covered—and don't forget to bring your player's outgrown or unused gear for our gear swap, where families can pass equipment on to another player in need (any sales made are independent of LAHA and the responsibility of the seller). This is an alcohol-free event.

There's signup list just so everyone can see what's being brought. Bring enough to share with ~ 10-12 people. Enjoy fun family activities including tug-of-war, shoot-the-piñata-with-a-puck, and other games with prizes!

Plus don't miss the inaugural LAHA Jello Mold Contest—dust off your best 1950's-style jiggly creation for a chance to win! Come celebrate the start of another great season of good friends, great hockey, and strong community.

UO Football Volunteer Concessions and support LAHA

The University of Oregon has invited LAHA to operate a beer stand (drinks only, no food prep!) at Ducks home football games this season — one of the most lucrative fundraising opportunities we've ever been offered, potentially earning thousands of dollars per game!  Each game needs about 14 OLCC-certified volunteers. Proceeds go into LAHA's general fund to help offset rising costs and keep hockey sustainable and affordable. Don't have your OLCC permit yet? No problem — sign up anyway and LAHA will guide you through certification and reimburse the permit cost once we're paid by the University.  Sign up here!
